Instructions for Renaissance Surgical, Inc.
Cleaning Recommendations:
Upon receipt inspect the instrument for defects. Carefully clean before sterilizing in preparation for its
initial use. Always inspect the instrument for broken parts before each use.
Clean and disinfect
instrument immediately after use. Do not allow biofluids or other material to dry on
the instrument: wipe clean and keep moist until the instrument reaches sterile processing.
Rinse thoroughly in lukewarm water. Carefully scrub parts with soft brushes. Flush lumens and joints
using a syringe filled with demineralized water. Use low-foaming, enzymatic cleaning solutions with a
pH range of 6-8 and follow manufacturer’s instructions. Rinse with demineralized water. Lubricate in a
water-soluble instrument bath.
Store this instrument in a moisture-free location. Always cover and protect sharp edges and delicate tips when not in use.
